Choosing concealed shelf supports: rod and shelf depth
Concealed supports require coordination between preparation inside the shelf and fixing to the wall. Match rod dimensions to shelf thickness and depth.
What determines the choice
This group includes Ø8 mm and Ø10 mm rods with 10 cm and 14 cm lengths. A longer support is not automatically suitable for every shelf: the shelf needs enough properly prepared internal space.
Consider wall material, fixing points and the intended shelf arrangement together. Multiple supports need aligned positions. Do not interpret the listed length as a permitted shelf depth or load rating; confirm suitability using the project's dimensions.
