Choosing shelf pins: hole, shelf and contact surface
Nail-in, screw-in, push-in and suction-cup supports use different fixing methods. Evaluate the cabinet connection separately from the shelf's contact surface.
What determines the choice
For a replacement pin, first measure the cabinet hole's diameter, depth and position. Use the drawing to confirm whether a listed 8 mm or 10 mm dimension describes the fixing diameter or another application detail.
Glass and wood shelves may need different contact arrangements. Check suction cups, pads or plastic tips for the exact model. Consider shelf size and support positions together; a load rating cannot be inferred from the product name.
