Selection guide
Choosing glass hinges: thickness and connection type
Glass-to-glass and glass-to-wood joints need different hinge arrangements. Compare glass thickness, fixed side and opening geometry together.

What determines the choice
Identify moving and fixed surfaces first. Straight or angled glass-to-glass joints differ from glass-to-wood connections. Match the listed 6 mm, 6–8 mm or 8–10 mm option to the selected model's application information.
Next examine fixing points and clearance around the door. Use the model's drawing to confirm whether holes or other preparation in the glass are required. If reusing glass, share the existing preparation and edge distances along with photographs.
This guide brings together Angled glass-to-glass hinge 4180 and Glass hinge 4107 to help you compare their application and connection details.
