Selection guide
Choosing door stops and buffers: contact point and floor
Decide where the door should stop before choosing the fitting's shape. Compare floor-mounted and adhesive options against contact position and surface conditions.

What determines the choice
Follow the door's normal opening path and identify where the handle or leaf approaches the wall. Stop height and position must meet the intended part of the door; the bottom gap and changes in floor level can alter that contact.
For a floor-fixed model, check the fixing area; for an adhesive model, confirm surface suitability and preparation. Product names alone do not explain the layout of buffers, stops or multi-part options: inspect the detail images.
This guide brings together Door stop 4152 and Door bumper 4104 to help you compare their application and connection details.
